My daughter’s friend Shyrel is a sassy, fun, photo-friendly teen. I took her and my daughter, Phoenix, downtown Portland this weekend for a mini photoshoot.
There were so many cool shots. But this series of photos is my favorite.
We were hanging out in the Pioneer Place Mall Sky Bridge when I had the brilliant idea to leave the girls in the bridge and shoot from outside. The shoot was going well, when all of the sudden I noticed my daughter hiding her face and some colorful figures walk up next to the girls. A couple of young guys, approximately their age, showed up and and awkward teen feelings were flying. I could feel them all the way from the street below.
The boys spotted me at the last minute and got in on the fun.
Some really cool shots.
